REEM final trailer

Audience Feedback

We asked the same people for more feedback on our trailer, to see if we had tackled the things they thought were necessary.

"The final trailer was much better than the rough cut, i thought it looked more proffesional and the music fitted a lot better than before" - Luke Wainhouse

"With the title card placed at the end it makes the whole trailer seem more realistic and gives the programme brand identity" - Jack Kane

Question 4)

Part 1

Part 2

Towie rough cut 1

Audience Feedback

Constructive Criticism

  • The Sound needs editing
  • We need to re-order the shots to flow better
  • We need to make the cuts flow better

>"I think the trailer was really funny and really entertaining, the song suited the trailer but it could have been edited better to fit the cuts so it didn't give the right connotations" - Luke Wainhouse

We took this feedback and editted the music on 'Garage Band' so that it would fit in with our
trailer and also ducked the sound so you can hear the actors speaking, it also fades out at the
                 end.

>"The trailer is funny but it doesn't have any title cards so i didn't know what was going on or which channel the show would be shown on." - Jack Kane

We added que cards at the end to establish what TV programme we were showing it on and
what time, date etc. We also re-arranged the scenes to flow better.

Planning

TV magazine planning

The TV Easy magazines feature a lot of bright, tacky like colours. They use a large number of different colours, up to around 10 different colours. They feature one big heading which is in your face and very over the top, they seem too sum the cover star's storyline/life up. They are very dramatic and say it how it is. There are buttons on the side of the cover with an image of a character in with a brief phrase/caption of what has happened or what is happening to that character. Banners are also used at the top of the page, which is a typical feature. The cover stars themselves have very cheesy facial expressions, and look as if they're up to no good. As my magazine is going to be a parody, TV Easy is a good magazine to parody because of how tacky it already is.
